Where tradition meets passion: 1. FC Kaiserslautern heads to Sterzing – Ratschings for their training camp from 19th to 26th of july 2026!

Last summer, the FCK squad discovered ideal conditions in the Sterzing–Ratschings holiday region, so ideal, in fact, that the Red Devils will continue to make South Tyrol their training base in the years ahead. The long-standing club and the Sterzing–Ratschings holiday region have renewed their partnership for another two years.

When 1. FC Kaiserslautern, one of Germany’s most storied football clubs, travels to the South Tyrolean Alps, it’s more than just a training camp, it’s a meeting of two places united by heritage and a deep connection to their roots.

Sterzing - Ratschings is a place of heart and tradition, nestled in the majestic South Tyrolean Alps. Known for its warm hospitality, its charming medieval town center, and the stunning mountain landscapes surrounding this alpine town, the region offers the perfect blend of culture, cuisine, and outdoor adventure.


1. FC Kaiserslautern – A club with a legacy: founded 125 years ago, FCK stands for passion, unity, and a strong bond to the Palatinate region. With four German championships, two DFB Cup wins, and a rich history of success, the club holds a proud place in German football history.

More than just a training camp: Sterzing -Ratschings offers FCK not only top-class conditions to prepare for the upcoming season, but also the chance to connect with a region that shares its values. Here, football isn’t just played - it’s part of a community spirit that’s truly lived.
