In February 2014, a rockslide occurred in Tramin in the South Tyrolean lowlands. The Tramin dolomite came down from the mountain into the valley. The hard impact split it into two pieces, but that doesn't matter to a stone. The blocks were cut and gradually made available for interior design and interior decoration. It won't be there forever: That's what makes this special dolomite so beautiful and also valuable.

Anyone searching for gold in the South Tyrolean riverbeds will often find gneiss. It shimmers and glitters a wonderful silver colour. The name is old German and means something like "spark". The gneiss is usually hidden deep in the earth and only comes to the surface under certain conditions – just like your well-earned holiday feelings. That makes these two things real treasures.

"Plima" is a special granite from the Val Martello in Val Venosta. It is named after the river there was taken from this river-bed and re-inserted near yours here in Sole. Some pieces also come from the meadows of local farmers or from rubble cones. So, there is no quarry, Plima is obtained purely from erratic blocks. This makes each stone truly unique.

It originates from the caldera of a volcano that has been extinct for millions of years. Typical of lava rock, the Bolzano porphyry is reddish in colour. Our rock was discovered by chance on a farm. The atypical white inclusions make it a very special piece of stone with a strong character. Its hardness, substance, and beauty make it a building material for eternity.

The appartament Brennero is situated at Gossensass ( Colle Isarco), inside the historic Palace-Hotel Gossensass. Distance to Hotel Schaurhof is 3 km. The appartament Tribulaun is situated at Gossensass ( Colle Isarco), at the historic Palace-Hotel Gossensass. This is 3 km from Hotel Schaurhof. Live like at home in your own 48 sq m apartment in the historic Palace Hotel in Gossensass. The holiday apartment boasts a balcony with a magnificent view of the Pflersch mountains, a small kitchen, a living room with a sofa bed and satellite TV, a double bed, and a bathroom with a shower, toilet, bidet, washing machine, and hairdryer. The apartment can, of course, be booked with breakfast or half board (at the Hotel Schaurhof). The hotel services, such as the pool, sauna, and activity program at the main hotel, the Schaurhof, are also available. approx 60 m² Thanks to their separate sleeping areas, the light-filled family suites with wooden floor and south-facing balcony with panoramic views are ideal for families. Furnishings include a big double bed for the parents, 1 x bedroom for your childrens: 1 x single bed and 1 bunk-bed,  sitting area with table and chairs, wardrobe, safe and a spazious bathroom with two sinks, shower, toilet, bidet and hair dryer.

The Hühnerspielhütte is located at 1,850 meters, high above the village of Gossensass. It is not accessible by car. You can reach us on foot: from Gossensass it is about 2 hours, from the Dax car park it is about 1.5 hours, and from the Riedberghütte it is about 30 minutes. You can stay overnight or just stop by for a meal. You can stay overnight in our dormitory for 5 people or in one double room. One shared bathroom. For cozy get-togethers, you will find space on our terrace and in the rustic parlor with a tiled stove. The breathtaking panorama of the Tribulaun and the Jaufenspitz is, of course, included free of charge. The ideal stopover for those crossing the Alps. Attention: check-in is possible only till 18.30 !!

Our apartments, completed in 2023, are perfectly equipped. Apartment small has a separate children's bedroom with three beds, a double bed and a spacious kitchen-living room. Apartment large has a separate bedroom with a double bed, a separate children's bedroom with 3 to 4 beds and a spacious kitchen-living room. (The extra charge for apartment large is 20,00 Euro/night). All apartments have a large south-facing balcony, with table chairs and deck chairs, 1 SAT TV sets, WLAN, safe, hairdryer. The kitchen is equipped with electric stove, microwave oven, refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, cutlery, cookware. For a stay of less than 4 nights will be charged for the use of the kitchen 90,00 euros. You do not need to bring bed linen, towels and bathrobes. If you wish, we can also clean the apartment for you every day. The price for this is 20,00 Euro/day. For a one-time cleaning in between we charge 30,00 Euro.
